Getting the perfect ring size is crucial. Your ring should fit your finger comfortably; snug enough so that it won’t fall off, but loose enough to slide over your knuckle.
Keep in mind that your fingers can change a whole size depending on temperature, time of day and sometimes even what you eat.
Here are our recommendations for finding the perfect ring size:
Hands down, the best way to get your ring size is to bring a ring that you already know fits perfectly on your wedding ring finger to a jewelry shop and have it sized by a professional.
If you don't already have a ring that fits you well, visit a few jewelry shops and get your finger measured on different days to get a general idea of your average ring size.
We do not recommend using printable ring size charts, a tape measure or string.
Some factors to keep in mind when figuring out your ring size:
Fingers tend to be bigger in the summer and smaller in the winter.
They can swell when you sleep, so in the morning they may be bigger.
Wider bands fit more snug than narrow bands.
Sodium makes us bloat… so keep in mind that fingers can be bigger after eating salty food.
Don’t measure when your hands are cold—this is when your fingers are smallest.
